Sword and Brass Penetration

You show a matchbox and penetrate the center of it with the sword. As soon as the sword thru, you hand the matchbox case to the spectator, no moves or sleights. Can you imagine the look on their face, when they discover a solid and we mean solid brass block inside of the matchbox. How could the needle possibly go thru? They can examine this until they are blue in the face .... There is absolutely no clue how this could have happened. This is all self contained, no sleights, or moves. Just Pure Magic. This effect can also be performed with any banknote in lieu of the matchbox.
