Spike Thru Balloon

Talk about fantastic effects! This is really fabulous!

Completely baffles everyone - just no explanation. The magician shows a decorated metal tube with a solid metal spike running through it. The spike is removed and can even be passed for examination. The magician then places a balloon in the tube and inflates it fully so that it fills the tube and extends from both ends of the tube. The spike is thrust right through the tube from side to side but the balloon remains inflated and completely unharmed.

The balloon is now allowed to deflate and is tossed to the spectators to examine and keep. The tube is lifted and shown to the spectators, allowing them to look right through it with the spikes still in the tube running from side to side. A really impossible enigma!
