A Close-up Statue of Liberty Vanishes!

On April 8, 1983 David Copperfield made magic history by vanishing America's favorite lady, the Statue of Liberty! Now magicians can answer all of those "How did David do it?" inquiries with this topical close-up variation.

A business size card bearing the statues likeness is introduced. Inviting a spectator to autograph the base of the statue, you lay the signed card face down on his or her palm. With a snap of the fingers you invite your volunteer to turn the card face up. Although the signature is still there, the statue has completely disappeared! The card I given to the spectator as a magical souvenir, long to be remembered.
