Q: What about foreign bills? Can they be used?
A: As long as the bill has a distinct serial number (which we think they all do), you should be okay. As long as the bill can be ripped you should be okay. I know that You have to jump up to 100 pesos (about $10 US) to be able to rip it. Some money is difficult to tear believe it or not. New Zealand, I think, has plastic money.

Q: Would it make a difference to the routine, if instead of ripping the bill, it was cut?
A: NO, CUTTING it into a few pieces is the exact solution and I SHOULD HAVE thought of that... it would require having to have something to cut with, therefore being a little less impromptu than I like, but so what.

Q: Can you borrow the spectator's dollar to perform this?
A: You CAN and SHOULD borrow money directly from their pocket... what happens after that is up to you since there are several methods and versions...

Q: Can it be done with 5,10, 20,etc. or is it just a one dollar bill?
A: Any denomination works... you'll find that you'll prefer the dollar for several reasons... however, when you learn the principles, you'll see how I've done it just as easily with 100's. If you were on television you might want to do it with a $100 and it would be incredible because the high denomination would heighten the destruction of the bill.

Q: Is there a gimmick or is it impromptu?
A: There is no gimmick. Depending on which trick from the DVD you are performing, there might be some pre-work. However, when you go to perform this, you have the option to go gimmickless. There are no sticky things, taggers, stick on letters, glue, magnets, etc...

Q: Does this involve actually wasting money, our own or a spectators?
A: Since a dollar is ripped, yes. However Rich performs this all the time and he has found you can just tape the 4 pieces together and spend as normal. ALSO, THERE ARE OTHER TRICKS ON HERE THAT DO NOT REQUIRE TEARING...

Q: Does this require experience to perform?
A: No, that's a really cool part of this effect and its choices. Anyone of any level can easily adapt the tips and methods and successfully do ay of these tricks. If you've never done dollar magic, this would be a great DVD that would allow you to learn many ideas of handlings and switches. If you are a dollar bill master, then you'll enjoy one or two of my unorthodoxed handlings and hopefully will LOVE the serial concept and set up ideas.
