Another hilarious Wayne Roger's comedy effect that will have your audience scratching their heads in bewilderment.

A rolled up banner is presented to the audience and written on the banner is a prediction. The magician has a card selected from an ordinary deck and the spectator chooses the four of spades. "Now," says the magician, "I will reveal to you all my bold prediction." The magician unrolls the banner revealing that it has one card printed on it, but the card is wrong!

Printed on the banner is the three of spades, not the four of spades! After the magician deliberately pauses and ponders how the course of events may have led him astray he has a stark epiphany. The magician then reaches behind the banner and produces a full sized shovel. "Aha," he exclaims, "Here is the missing spade!"
