This cane has a a bright silver spring attached to it so it appears that it has a knob on it. This is not tape or paint which can chip or peel. When it appears, it snaps open instantly and becomes rigid, not wobbly like we have experienced in many other models. Also, this cane collapses easier than any cane ever offered!
