THE HOST

Since the tender age of 9, Noah Levine has studied the art of magic. Today, he is world-renowned as one of the leading scholars and performers in the field. Noah’s sleight-of-hand expertise has been on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Carnegie Hall, and Lincoln Center, as well as in several television commercials and films. Noah has helped develop programming for the Conjuring Arts Research Center: a non-profit library that preserves historical texts and brings magic-based therapy to hospitals and schools.

As a technical advisor, he has been called upon to train actors including: Bryan Cranston, Rachel Weisz, Giovanni Ribisi, Ben Vereen, and James Earl Jones. You can book him for private events by visiting NoahLevineMagic.com

the show

You walk into an unassuming office building in Herald Square, ride an elevator to the 6th floor, walk through a narrow hallway and stop at the door to Louis Tannen’s – the oldest magic shop in New York City.

Inside there are sprawling bookshelves, colorful boxes, and hundreds of drawers with mysterious labels. Magician Noah Levine takes the group through the space telling some of the store’s most curious historical anecdotes, sometimes pausing to perform one of Tannen’s best sellers from the 1930’s.

Everyone is seated at a circular table, and all the lights are turned out except for a single overhead lamp. With the table as a stage, an interactive show begins.
