This classic illusion can be performed up close and surrounded. As a matter of fact, it's one of the few illusions that should be performed up close!
Your assistant is put in a small, decorative box and instantly swords are thrust through the box at all angles. To prove that she has vanished, the front doors are opened and, clearly, there is nothing inside.
This is not black art and it features the same method that has fooled people for years. Its basic construction makes it an easy prop for most experienced builders to construct and it breaks down flat for easy transportation. This is one of the most practical illusions available today.
