The magician removes a pack of cards and has two different cards selected and then returned back to the pack. The magician places the deck on the table and then the magic begins.
Impossibly and eerily the deck begins cutting itself on the table cutting to one card, the first selection. The selection is removed by the spectator and the deck again begins to go through it's haunted motions cutting to another card, without a doubt it's revealed to be the second selection.
